Search the internet for Federal, State, County, City, and local drone laws, rules, and ordinances in your destination cities. If you are lucky, you might find a site like this one where most of the research has been done, or you may need to start from scratch in order to not inadvertently violate some law or rule that didn't apply back in your home town. See the Where to Fly page for an idea of the places you should check in order to keep out of trouble. Just because someone put up a YouTube video saying how cool it was to fly his drone at such-and-such a location does not mean he did it legally and law enforcement may just be waiting for that "next guy" to try something stupid.
